Explanation | This revised policy explains that The Department of Children and Families responsibilities regarding obtaining Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards for children in care. It also reminds workers that the Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards must be returned to the child's parent or legal guardian, or a youth if he or she is over 18 years, at the time of the case closing. |
