Department of Banking Announces Securities Forum 2007
19th Annual Event to be held on October 25, 2007
The Securities and Business Investments Division of the State of Connecticut Department of Banking, in conjunction with the Securities Advisory Council to the Department, will be sponsoring its nineteenth annual Securities Forum conference on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, Connecticut.
This year's program will focus on practical solutions to compliance problems facing the securities brokerage and investment advisory industries. The agenda begins with a general session that will address developments in securities industry oversight and will feature four panel presentations, organized into broker-dealer and investment advisory tracks. The keynote speaker is Karl J. Krapek, former President and Chief Operating Officer of United Technologies Corporation.
The registration fee is $65 per person, discounted to $60 per person for multiple attendees from the same organization, and includes course materials and a luncheon.
