Department of Banking to Host 20th Annual Securities Forum
Freddie Mac Board Member to Deliver Keynote Address
The State of Connecticut Department of Banking will host Securities Forum 2008: Weathering the Economic Storm on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut. Now in its 20th year, the conference will highlight regulatory developments affecting the securities industry in an increasingly volatile economy.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Stephen A. Ross, a member of the board of directors of Freddie Mac and a professor of financial economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The registration fee is $70 per person, discounted to $60 per person for multiple attendees from the same organization, and includes course materials and a luncheon.
