The department is currently working with the examination vendor on implementation of a barber written examination. It is anticipated that the examination will be available in the fall of 2012.
In the interim, applicants for barber license may qualify based on completion of an approved hairdresser school and successful completion of the hairdresser examination. Please select this link for more information.
