Applicants found eligible will be required to  successfully complete an examination in homeopathic medicine administered by the Department.  The licensing examination is based principally upon classical homeopathy, as reflected in the writing of Hahnemann and Kent.  The examination consists of two components:

Section I:      Foundations of Homeopathy (History, Philosophy and Principles; Remedies and their Preparation).

Section II:      Practice of Homeopathy (Materia Medica, Repertorization; Case Taking and Case Management; Dangers of Homeopathic Prescribing).

The passing standard is a minimum of seventy-five percent (75%) correct on each of the two sections of the examination.

The examination is administered two times per year.  Please select this link for the examination schedule including dates of the examination as well as deadline dates.
