Hartford - The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH), in collaboration with the Connecticut Association of Public Health Nurses and the Connecticut Partnership for Public Health Workforce Development, will hold a conference for nurses and nursing students on Yale’s West Campus on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
The one-day conference, Legends of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: Public Health Nursing in the 21st Century, will feature reflections from some of the state’s distinguished nursing leaders, innovative health promotion activities from local health nurses, practice considerations from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s The Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action initiative, and nursing student poster presentations.
