This Directory lists all tobacco product manufacturers and brand families that are certified as being in compliance with Connecticut law.  Only cigarettes in brand families listed in this Directory may be stamped by Connecticut stampers.   Only cigarettes in brand families listed in this Directory may be sold, offered for sale or possessed for sale in Connecticut by licensed cigarette distributors and license cigarette dealers.  Only roll-your-own tobacco in brand families listed in this Directory may be sold, offered for sale or possessed for sale in Connecticut by licensed tobacco product distributors.

The Department of Revenue Services (DRS) will update this Directory on an as-needed basis to make corrections or to add or delete manufacturers or brand families.  Stampers will be notified by e-mail to the address provided to DRS on Form TPM-5, Stamper E-Mail Registration Form, whenever a manufacturer or brand family is added to or removed from the Directory.  Stampers are responsible for checking the most recent update of the Directory and any e-mail notifications from DRS before they stamp any cigarettes.  Licensed cigarette distributors and licensed cigarette dealers are responsible for checking the most recent update of the Directory before they sell, offer for sale or possess for sale any cigarettes.  Licensed tobacco product distributors are responsible for checking the most recent update of the Directory before they sell, offer for sale or possess for sale any roll-your-own tobacco.
