Latest DRS Non-Filer Mailing
An important part of the Department of Revenue Services (DRS) mission is to ensure those who are required to file a Connecticut income tax return have done so.
As part of this effort, DRS is currently sending letters to certain taxpayers who filed a 2016 federal return, but have not yet filed a Connecticut income tax return for tax year 2016.
The letter is a reminder to help taxpayers avoid the accumulation of interest and non-filer penalties. Taxpayers should follow the instructions provided; contact information is included if the taxpayer has questions or needs additional assistance.
