The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) recently mailed letters to approximately 2,300 users of the DRS file by phone Telefile system.

The purpose of the letter is to inform users that as part of the agency's information technology modernization initiative, DRS will be discontinuing the Telefile system, effective May 1, 2020. In May, DRS will transition to a new, secure, and user-friendly online system called myconneCT, where taxpayers will be able to file returns, make payments, view filing histories, and communicate with the agency.
