(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is directing a delayed opening of state offices on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 due to the winter storm that is impacting the early morning, rush hour commute. All level 2, first-shift state employees should report to work at 10:00 a.m.
“The state Department of Transportation has cleared the major highways, but many local roads are still snow-covered," Governor Lamont said. “Be extra cautious if you must travel. Please allow extra time, reduce speeds, and keep a safe distance from plows.”
