WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY CONTINUES JOBS TOUR; VISITS CT HYDROGEN FUEL CELL COALITION AND PROTON ONSITE
(HARTFORD, CT) - Continuing on his Jobs Tour, on Wednesday morning Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Department of Economic & Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith and Department of Energy & Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel C. Esty will meet with the Connecticut Hydrogen Fuel Cell Coalition (CHFCC) in East Hartford for a roundtable discussion concerning the future growth and expansion of the hydrogen and fuel cell industries in Connecticut. CHFCC is comprised of representatives from Connecticut's fuel cell and hydrogen industry, labor, academia, government, and other stakeholders and, along with the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), works to enhance economic growth of fuel cell and hydrogen technologies and associated fueling systems in Connecticut.
On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Malloy, Commissioner Smith and Commissioner Esty will visit with the executives and staff of Proton OnSite in Wallingford. Proton OnSite is a global leader in hydrogen energy and innovative gas solutions, developing and applying hydrogen technology in creative and practical ways that best meets the diverse requirements of its customers. The visit will provide an opportunity to discuss development strategy and overall business outlook.
