GOV. MALLOY AND LT. GOV. WYMAN STATEMENT ON JEANNE MILSTEIN

(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman issued the following statement regarding the retirement of Jeanne Milstein, the State Child Advocate:

"Jeanne Milstein is an extraordinary public servant who brought tireless commitment, dedication and passion to her work protecting Connecticut's children. Her efforts ensured our children had a voice and a champion at the Capitol-and she raised the standards for ensuring the care and safety of Connecticut's youngest residents. Jeanne's legacy at the Office of the Child Advocate is one of lasting protections for our young people, and her work will be missed."
