TODAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS MEDIA AVAILABILITY WITH US SECRETARY OF HOMELAND SECURITY NAPOLITANO; VISITS NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS IN EAST HARTFORD; HOLD MEDIA BRIEFING ON STORM RECOVERY EFFORTS

(HARTFORD, CT) - Today at 11:30 a.m., Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will join U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, members of Connecticut's Congressional delegation and other local officials for a media availability at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport.

At 3:00 p.m., Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will visit Connecticut National Guard Troops at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, which is being utilized as a staging area for water and food supplies that are being delivered to communities across the state.

At 6:00 p.m., Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will hold a news briefing at the State Emergency Operations Center in Hartford with the latest updates on storm recovery efforts.
