TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE ON PLAN TO COMBAT VETERAN HOMELESSNESS; ATTENDS AGRICULTURE MEETING
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend a meeting of the Working Lands Alliance in Hartford, where the agriculture organization will discuss its 2014 policy priorities with the Governor. The Governor will also announce one of his agricultural legislative priorities for the recently convened legislative session.
Following that, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference at a shelter in Hartford to discuss the proposal he announced during his State of the State address last week to end homelessness for Connecticut veterans and also help them gain employment. He will be joined by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, state legislators, veterans, and other advocates.
