TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY KEYNOTES BRIDGEPORT REGIONAL BUSINESS COUNCIL EVENT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at the Bridgeport Regional Business Council's 2014 Capitol Luncheon. The council, whose mission is to pursue economic development of the region that will lead to increased jobs, is comprised of the Bridgeport, Stratford and Trumbull Chambers of Commerce, the Bridgeport Economic Development Corporation, Leadership Greater Bridgeport, and the Women's Leadership Council.

The Governor will discuss his push for an increase in the state's minimum wage, as well as the steps his administration has taken to improve the climate for small businesses in the state.
