MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE IN BRIDGEPORT ON EFFORTS TO HELP RESIDENTS 'GO BACK TO GET AHEAD'
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in Bridgeport to discuss the "Go Back to Get Ahead" initiative he proposed that will help Connecticut residents who have left college without earning a degree with the tuition costs associated with returning to school, encouraging them to complete their higher education goals. He will be joined by Mayor Bill Finch, Housatonic Community College President Anita Gliniecki, Charter Oak State College President Ed Klonoski, students, and other local and state officials.
