THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCEMENT IN DANBURY; DISCUSSES TRANSPORTATION IN BERLIN; ATTENDS MILITARY MEMORIAL GROUNDBREAKING IN MIDDLETOWN

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in Danbury to make an economic development announcement that will create hundreds of jobs in the state.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will speak about the state's transportation priorities at the 68th annual meeting of the Connecticut Association of Street and Highway Officials in Berlin.

Following that, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will join other state and local officials at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial in Middletown. The site will be a living memorial to honor Connecticut military men and women.
