TODAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES EARTH DAY ANNOUNCEMENT; HOLDS COMMUNITY FORUM IN BLOOMFIELD

(HARTFORD, CT) - This morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will speak at an Earth Day event in Hartford's Bushnell Park hosted by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection promoting the use of electric vehicles in the state. During the event, several electric vehicles will be on display and available for test drives, the Governor will make an announcement, and the department will also launch the new public charging station located outside of their office building, across the street from the park.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman will hold a community forum with seniors in Bloomfield, where they will speak about their agenda for Connecticut's future. This will be the sixth event in this year's series of gubernatorial community forums.
