MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS GRAND OPENING OF ESPN'S DIGITAL CENTER 2 BUILDING; PARTICIPATES IN TOWN HALL WITH U.S. EDUCATION SECRETARY ARNE DUNCAN

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a ceremony celebrating the grand opening of ESPN's state-of-the-art Digital Center 2 building - a project announced two years ago as part of the Governor's "First Five" economic development program. The Governor will join ESPN President John Skipper to record the first-ever broadcast from the center.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will participate in a town hall-style event on college readiness and affordability with U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan. Also attending will be U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, Education Commissioner Stefan Pryor, Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra, and others.
