SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT STUDENT INNOVATION EXPO; PARTICIPATES IN CCSU COMMENCEMENT; ATTENDS 'THE GATHERING' FESTIVAL IN WATERBURY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will welcome 1,500 students attending the 2014 Student Innovation Expo in Hartford. The event is an annual highlight for the Center for 21st Century Skills at Education Connection and affiliated organization. It is the culminating experience for Connecticut middle and high school students engaged in innovative, cutting-edge STEM education.

Following that, Governor Malloy will speak at Central Connecticut State University's undergraduate commencement ceremony in Hartford.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will attend Waterbury's "The Gathering" festival - a celebration of the rich diversity of the city's people.
