WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS ROUNDTABLE WITH LOCAL START-UP COMPANIES; SIGNS EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION BILLS

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a roundtable discussion in Hartford with a group of successful startups and early-stage companies to discuss economic development and business growth.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold a ceremony in Hamden, where he will sign two pieces of legislation that improve early childhood education and increase access to pre-kindergarten in Connecticut. The bills are Public Act 14-39 ( An Act Establishing the Office of Early Childhood, Expanding Opportunities for Early Childhood Education and Concerning Dyslexia and Special Education ) and Public Act 14-41 ( An Act Establishing the Connecticut Smart Start Program ).
