TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY PARTICIPATES IN CEREMONY FORMALIZING CREATION OF UCONN'S NEW DOWNTOWN HARTFORD CAMPUS
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a ceremony formalizing the creation of UConn's new campus in downtown Hartford at the site of the former Hartford Times building. During the event, state officials will sign the necessary documents to complete the move. Also participating will be Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra, UConn Board of Trustees Chairman Larry McHugh, UConn President Susan Herbst, and others.

**NOTE: In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in the atrium of Hartford City Hall. The 1:30 p.m. event will be preceded by a UConn Board of Trustees meeting via conference call at 1 p.m. to ratify the documents. Members of the media and public may listen to the call in Room 100 of Hartford City Hall.
