TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY & LT. GOV. WYMAN PARTICIPATE IN CEREMONY HONORING STATE'S SANDY HOOK EMERGENCY RESPONDERS
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will participate in a ceremony hosted by the state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection honoring workers from the state agency who responded to the December 14, 2012 tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. Honors will be given in the following categories: First Responders; Emergency Services Unit; Connecticut State Police Major Crime Detectives; Family Liaison Troopers/Officers; Employee Assistance; Law Enforcement Support; Civilian Support Staff; and Command Officers.
