WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY ANNOUNCES 'FREE STATE PARKS WEEKEND' IN CONNECTICUT
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden to announce the details of "Free State Parks Weekend" - an upcoming weekend during which all parking and admission fees at state parks and museums throughout the state will not be collected. "Free State Parks Weekend" is part of the ongoing celebration of the state parks centennial. The Governor will be joined at the announcement by Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Rob Klee and other state and local officials.
