FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY CELEBRATES CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN KENT, MAKES RENOVATION ANNOUNCEMENT IN WINSTED, ATTENDS UCONN FOOTBALL SEASON OPENER
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join state and local officials at a ribbon cutting ceremony in Kent to celebrate the completion of a land conservation effort that will allow the Kent Land Trust to receive a state
Open Space Grant
from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
Following that, the Governor will make an announcement in Winsted concerning the renovation of a property owned by the American Mural Project.
In the evening, Governor Malloy will attend the UConn Football season opener against Brigham Young University in East Hartford.
