MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY HIGHLIGHTS INVESTMENTS IN LOCAL BRIDGES
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference to highlight statewide investments in local bridge repairs and upgrades throughout Connecticut. The news conference will be held at the site of a bridge in Rocky Hill that is currently under construction and receiving renovations. The Governor will be joined by state Department of Transportation representatives as well as other state and local officials.

WHERE : Location of the bridge on Old Main Street in Rocky Hill that takes drivers over Goff Brook near the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield town line, where Middletown Avenue becomes Old Main Street
**NOTE: Because the bridge is currently under construction, everyone attending the news conference must approach the bridge coming from Wethersfield. The site of the news conference will be inaccessible for drivers approaching from the Rocky Hill side of the bridge.
**DIRECTIONS: From I-91S, take Exit 25S and go straight through the light at the bottom of the ramp onto Maple Street. Turn left at the next light onto Middletown Avenue. Follow Middletown Avenue one mile to the job site. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
From I-91N, take Exit 24 and go right off the ramp onto Route 99N (Silas Deane Highway). Follow 99N to intersection with Mill Street and turn right, the next right onto Middletown Avenue. Follow Middletown Avenue one mile to the job site. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
