SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY RUNS IN MADD DASH 5K; PARTICIPATES IN INDIA INDEPENDENCE DAY CEREMONY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will run in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Dash 5K in Stratford. Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will also attend and help kick-off the festivities. The event benefits the Fairfield County Chapter of MADD. Immediately following the run, the Governor will take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at the finish line.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will participate in the India Independence Day ceremony at the State Capitol in Hartford.
