TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE ON STATE'S SNOW PREPARATION AND EFFORTS TO IMPROVE ROAD SAFETY DURING THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference to discuss the state's preparations for the season's first snowfall, which is expected on Wednesday. The Governor will also highlight the Connecticut State Police's effort to ensure safe driving over the Thanksgiving holiday. He will be joined by Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Commissioner Dora Schriro, Department of Transportation Commissioner James Redeker, State Police Colonel Brian Meraviglia, Janice Heggie Margolis of the Connecticut chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and others.
