Monday: Gov. Malloy Attends Stem Cell Symposium; Holds Availability on Five-Year Transportation Ramp-Up; Keynotes Northwest Connecticut Chamber Meeting
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make welcoming remarks at StemConn 2015, an annual scientific symposium highlighting the work of stem cell and regenerative medicine researchers in Connecticut.
Following that, Governor Malloy and Department of Transportation Commissioner James P. Redeker will hold a media availability to discuss the Governor's proposed five-year transportation ramp-up plan just prior to the start of the legislative Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee's public hearing on the topic.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will give the keynote address at the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting in Torrington, where he will speak with the local business community about his agenda for Connecticut's future and his vision to transform the state's infrastructure to create jobs and attract business.
