Gov. Malloy Directs Flags to Half-Staff Tuesday in Observance of the Funeral Services for U.S. Navy Petty Officer Dustin Doyon
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in observation of the funeral services for U.S. Navy Electronics Technician 2nd Class Dustin Louis Doyon, which are scheduled to be held on that day in Suffield.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the U.S. flag, all other flags – including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise – should also be lowered during this same duration of time.- Twitter: @GovMalloyOffice
