The Research, Analysis & Evaluation unit of the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division's primary mission is compiling, analyzing, and disseminating data on a variety of criminal justice and public safety-related topics. The information produced by the unit serves a vital role in effectively managing, planning, and creating policy for the State's many public service endeavors.

As the Director of the Connecticut Statistical Analysis Center, Mr. Kuzyk performs research and analysis on a range of criminal justice issues in the state. He produces the state's annual recidivsm study and the annual prison population forecast. Each month he authors the Monthy Indicator Report, a publication that tracks the operational parameters of major components of the state's criminal justice system. Mr. Kuzyk also co-ordinates the CJPAC Research Work Group. |
