Fellowship Place
Funding from the Non-Profit Grant program made it possible for Fellowship Place of New Haven to create a bright and welcoming space for the Fellowship Inn, a homeless drop-in center, which serves between 20 and 30 people a day during daytime hours when homeless shelters are closed. The new Fellowship Inn includes a laundry area, kitchen, showers, lockers, and meeting space. Counselors at the Inn help the homeless connect with mental health and primary health care, housing, employment, and other benefit programs. Non-profit grant funding was also used for energy upgrades and structural improvements for Fellowship’s administrative offices.
