Thomaston Police Department

The Town of Thomaston is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. At this time only CERTIFIED applicants with a minimum of (2) years experience are encouraged to apply. Officers must be in good standing with their department or retired in good standing possessing current POSTC CERT. Officers with more than (5) years experience will start at $61,692.88 with (3) weeks vacation, 457 B Retirement Plan with 100% match on 5% contribution, medical- dental available or payment made in lieu of benefits. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a selection process.
