Tomorrow is the Final Day to Register to Vote in Advance of Election Day
Secretary of the State Denise Merrill Encourages Eligible Connecticut Voters to Register
HARTFORD – Tomorrow, Tuesday October 29 is the final day for eligible Connecticut residents to register to vote in advance of Election Day. Potential voters can register at myvote.ct.gov/register by 11:59pm tomorrow, in person at their town hall, DMV, or other state agency by the close of business, or by mail so long as the registration is postmarked by tomorrow. Registrars of Voters will be in Town Halls across the state registering voters from 9:00am to 8:00pm.
Connecticut residents can check their registration and look-up their polling place at myvote.ct.gov/lookup.
Connecticut also has Election Day Registration, but Secretary of the State Denise Merrill is strongly encouraging potential Connecticut voters to register in advance and skip any lines that may form on Election Day.
“Tomorrow is the last day to register prior to Election Day, and our goal is to make sure that every eligible voter registers, and every registered voter votes. If you aren’t yet registered, don’t wait! Register now at myvote.ct.gov/register or at your local town hall, and make a plan to vote on Election Day and make your voice heard.”
