Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman is featured this week in a national campaign sponsored by the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA). Lt. Governor Wyman is the focus of "Lieutenant Governors Impact States," a year-long national educational effort to highlight the vital duties of the nation's lieutenant governors, in addition to their role in gubernatorial succession.
"Lt. Governor Wyman impacts the state of Connecticut in positive ways through her work on health care, achievement opportunities, legislative leadership, and more," said NLGA Executive Director Julia Hurst. "She is an excellent example of the work lieutenant governors do." The feature is located at www.nlga.us and can be found referenced on Twitter @NLGA or on Facebook at National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA). "We encourage you to visit the site to learn more about how your lieutenant governor impacts your sate and to see what lieutenant governors in other states are up to," said Hurst.
