THURSDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN SPEAKS AT LAW ENFORCEMENT MEMORIAL, HOSTS WALL OF HONOR CEREMONY
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will give remarks at the 26 th annual Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony.
In the afternoon, she will be joined by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Major General Thad Martin, Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Linda Schwartz, radio personality Brad Davis, and military families at the annual Wall of Honor ceremony.
Started by the Lt. Governor in 2007, the Wall of Honor memorializes Connecticut troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 2001 terrorist attacks. It includes photos of 64 Connecticut service members displayed in the concourse between the Capitol and the Legislative Office Building. This year, a photo of Air Force Staff Sergeant Todd James "TJ" Lobraico Jr. will be added to the Wall.
