MONDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN ATTENDS TECH SCHOOL GROUNDBREAKING, JOINS GOV. MALLOY AT ANNOUNCEMENT ON EFFORTS TO ELIMINATE HOMELESSNESS AMONG VETERANS
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will join officials at Emmett O'Brien Technical High School to break ground on a renovation and expansion project.
Later, she will join Governor Dannel P. Malloy, state Housing Commissioner Evonne Klein, and groups of veterans, and housing advocates at a news conference in Hartford to make a major announcement regarding the next steps in his efforts to eliminate chronic homelessness among veterans in Connecticut. Earlier this year, the Governor announced a goal of eliminating chronic veteran homelessness by the end of 2015.
