THURSDAY: LT. GOVERNOR WYMAN ATTENDS EVENTS IN MIDDLETOWN AND HARTFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will join State Department of Education officials at the annual Connecting Faith, Families and Schools conference. This year the focus will be on addressing chronic absenteeism.

Later, she will speak to state agency representative, nonprofit organizations, and others at a conference designed to bolster communications with Connecticut's non-English speakers and people with disabilities.

At noon, the Lt. Governor will join a women's panel to discuss issues facing women and the state's work to promote equality and progress.
