(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will tour Floyd Manufacturing in Cromwell, a CNC manufacturer that recruits and employs Job Corps graduates. Through training programs at community colleges, Department of Economic and Community Development initiatives that support industry, and funding to widen markets for Connecticut manufacturers, the state is supporting a sector that employs nearly 164,000 workers and accounts for about 11 percent of the Gross State Product.
