Tuesday: Lt. Governor Wyman Speaks at Events in Groton, Westbrook, and Hartford
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the annual Sunrise Workers' Memorial Day service hosted by the Southeastern Connecticut Central Labor Council and the AFL-CIO Community Services of Southeastern Connecticut. The ceremony honors the men and women who have lost their lives while on the job.
Later that morning, she will address the Westbrook division of the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce on economic development initiatives and the legislative session.
In the afternoon, the Lt. Governor will join other state, local, and CT AFL-CIO union officials at the Capitol to mark Workers' Memorial Day.
Finally, the Lt. Governor will offer congratulations to the recipients of the 2015 CT Water Works Association scholarships.
