What entities can cannabis establishments transport their products to?

Licensed cannabis establishments may transport their own cannabis and cannabis products to other licensed cannabis establishments or entities based on the type of license they hold. Licensees may only transport their own cannabis and cannabis products. To transport cannabis and cannabis products, a licensee must comply with the requirements outlined in Connecticut General Statutes Chapter 420h as well as the Department’s policies and procedures

 

The chart below describes the different types of adult-use cannabis establishments and who they may transport their own cannabis products to:

Dispensary facility, hybrid retailer, retailer, food and beverage manufacturer, product manufacturer, research program, laboratory or product packager
Micro-cultivator Dispensary facility, hybrid retailer, retailer, delivery service, food and beverage manufacturer, product manufacturer, research program, laboratory or product packager
Product Manufacturer Any cannabis establishment, laboratory or research program
Food and Beverage Manufacturer Any cannabis establishment, laboratory or research program
Product Packager Any cannabis establishment, laboratory or research program
Hybrid Retailer Delivery service, laboratory or research program
Retailer Delivery service, laboratory or research program

 

Certain license types may deliver cannabis and cannabis products to qualifying patients, caregivers and adult-use consumers.
