If you or someone you’re assisting does not have transportation access, please utilize the resources below to get connected with transportation help.
Transportation resources exist across the state to help individuals get to their COVID-19 vaccination appointments. Providers and local community services have been effectively meeting the transportation needs of their communities, ensuring that transportation is not a barrier to vaccination.
Uber – Free rides to and from vaccine locations
- What is the service provided? Book free rides (up to $25) to and from vaccine locations for both doses, now through July 4th.
- Who is eligible? Everyone in America can get up to 4 free rides per person to and from eligible vaccination sites between 6:00 AM-8:00 PM. Each of 2 round trips must be 3 weeks apart.

an appointment
scheduled
OR
plan on being vaccinated at a walk-up clinic.

- How do I access this service? Open the Uber app and tap the “Vaccine” button. From there, book your free ride by searching for your vaccine location.
- What if I need help booking a ride through the Uber app? Call the Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877- 918-2224 and select option 2 to connect with a specialist who can help.
Lyft – Free rides to and from vaccine locations
- What is the service provided? Book free rides (up to $15) to and from vaccine locations.
- Who is eligible? Everyone in America can get up to 2 free rides unless you are enrolled in Medicaid.
- Do I have to have a vaccine appointment already scheduled? No. You must either have an appointment scheduled OR plan on being vaccinated at a

- How do I access this service? Visit lyft.com/vaccine-access and click on “Get a ride” to complete the intake form. If you qualify, you will receive a Lyft code to redeem in the Lyft app.
- What if I need help booking a ride through the Lyft app? Call the Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877- 918-2224 and select option 2 to connect with a specialist who can help.
Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line (877-918-2224) – Schedule an appointment and get connected with a ride
- What are the services provided? Vaccine appointment scheduling assistance and assistance scheduling transportation to appointments.
- Who is eligible? Everyone in Connecticut who is vaccine-eligible, especially individuals with limited or no online access or who are challenged by the process.
- Do I have to have a vaccine appointment already scheduled? No. Individuals who have a vaccine appointment and just need transportation can dial 877- 918-2224 and then select option 2 to connect with available transportation resources
- How do I access this service? Dial 877-918-2224 to speak with a Vaccine Appointment Specialist who can help you schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment and access transportation assistance. The Vaccine Appointment Assist Line is open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

- What are the services provided? A wide range of transportation programs and services including Disability-Related Transportation, Medical Appointments Transportation, and Senior Ride Programs.

- What are the services provided? Information and referrals to transportation resources across the State for residents who already have scheduled their vaccination appointments.
- How do I access this service? Call CT Rides’ toll-free COVID-19 phone number (866) 766-5516, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
