Gov. Malloy: FuelCell Energy Expansion Advances Connecticut's Long-Term Energy Goals
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Danbury-based FuelCell Energy Inc. will begin a two-phased expansion of its Torrington manufacturing facility. The company expects the project to add up to 325 new jobs over the next four years to its existing Connecticut workforce of 538 employees.

Gov. Malloy: Connecticut Investment in Bioscience Continues to Pay Dividends
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that a new, state-of-the art genomics research facility is being established in Branford by the renowned Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai, a leader in biomedical research, medical and scientific training and patient care, is expanding into Connecticut and anticipates creating 142 new full time jobs over the next five years.

Malloy today announced that Marsam Metal Finishing Co., a leading source for metal finishing, is undergoing a $2.5 million expansion project in New Britain that will allow the company to increase its operations to meet growing demand and add 25 new jobs to its current workforce of 34 employees.

Gov. Malloy: Leading Precision Manufacturer Will Expand and Create Jobs in Bethel
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Memry Corporation, a leading manufacturer in the shape memory alloys industry, will expand its facility in Bethel to meet growing production demand. As part of the expansion project, Memry will add 76 new jobs to its current workforce of 153 employees by November 2017.

Gov. Malloy: State to Invest $19 Million in Waterbury for Economic Development and Infrastructure Projects

O’Leary and other state and local officials, today announced a $19.2 million package of state investment in six development and improvement projects in downtown Waterbury, as well as funding for the design of a new signalization system for Metro-North’s Waterbury Branch.
