Connecticut's Wildlife Action Plan
Creating a vision for the future of wildlife conservation
Species and Habitats
Information about species and habitats included in Connecticut's Wildlife Action Plan (CT-WAP) was provided by DEEP staff, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the members of the DEEP's Taxonomic Advisory Committees, and other species or habitat experts. The information includes global and state ranks, state and federal listing status, designation by other conservation plans, population trend information, relative abundance information, and whether the species is endemic, has fragmented populations, has limited dispersal, is considered a "responsibility" species, or is considered an "at-risk" population.
