This unique HUSKY coverage group provides full Medicaid benefits to eligible women in the State of Connecticut.
Eligibility conducted with ‘Qualified Entities’ (health departments, hospitals, or clinics) affiliated with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Client must be found to need treatment for breast or cervical cancer

At or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level

Clients must be under the age of 65

Client must not have ‘creditable’ private health insurance

Must be a citizen or a qualified non-citizen
The Department of Social Services, administering agency for Medicaid/HUSKY Health, collaborates with the Department of Public Health in the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program and health coverage
