How do I get a student transcript or student records from a private career school?
Do you need a copy of your transcript from a closed college, university, or private career school? Are you an employer who needs to confirm a job applicant’s education? Use the links and phone numbers below to get it.
Closed career schools, colleges, and universities
If the school was taken over by another school that is still open:
- Contact that school.
If the school was NOT taken over by a school that’s still open:
Please note: Transcript requests take up to 6 weeks. If we haven’t contacted you by the end of 6 weeks, please email us.
CT OHE doesn’t have transcripts for high schools or adult ed/GED. Reach out to these places instead:
Vocational-technical high schools transcripts
Call the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) at 860-807-2200 or fill out an online form on the CTECS website.
Public high school transcripts

Private and Catholic high school transcripts
