THE OFFICE OF HEALTH STRATEGY RELEASES ANNUAL REPORTS ON COST GROWTH BENCHMARK, PRIMARY CARE SPENDING TARGET AND QUALITY BENCHMARKS
(Hartford, CT) – The Office of Health Strategy (OHS) released a series of reports which analyze changes in Connecticut’s healthcare spending and quality between 2021 and 2022. The series includes the second annual Cost Growth Benchmark and The Primary Care Spend Target reports, as well as the first reported results for the 2022 Quality Benchmarks.

Governor Lamont Announces Connecticut Accepted Into Peterson-Milbank Program To Support Efforts on Containing Healthcare Cost Growth
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Office of Healthcare Strategy Executive Director Victoria Veltri today announced that the State of Connecticut has been accepted into the Peterson-Milbank Program for Sustainable Health Care Costs. Launched earlier this year by the Milbank Memorial Fund, the nationwide program was created to advance state efforts on addressing the growth of healthcare costs.
