CCS Leadership Community of Practice Series for Administrators [2015-16]
CAS and the CSDE have developed a Community of Practice to assist schools and districts in their efforts with regard to implementing the Connecticut Core State Standards. There are 8 workshops: 9-29-15, 10-29-15, 12-1-15, 1-12-16, 2-9-16, 3-10-16, 4-26-16, 5-17-16.
There will be facilitated discussion groups following each presentation. Topics to include:
- Science and the CT Core Standards
- Social Studies
- Interim assessments
- Alignment with current curricula
- After school enrichment and the CT Core
There is no charge to attend this series of workshops. A tool kit of best practices will be posted on the CAS and CSDE websites.
