Free Echoes and Reflections Curriculum

- For over 10 years, ADL has been the premier provider of Holocaust education for teachers (middle and high school) in CT. For over 27 years, ADL has provided thousands of anti-bias education programs, to CT administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
- Our Echoes and Reflections program is a nationally renowned, evaluated and award-winning Holocaust Education program, a partnership between ADL, Yad Vashem and The Shoah Foundation. The Echoes and Reflections materials, which include in-person training, an online curriculum and webinars, are continuously updated and are rated as very user-friendly by teachers.
- ADL’s Echoes and Reflections curriculum provides free databases, resource libraries, educational programs and training, lesson plans and children’s literature.

- The Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut, (JFACT), speaks with one voice for the seven Connecticut Jewish Federations. JFACT is the government and community relations arm of the Jewish Federation system in the state, and lobbies for legislation at the local, state and federal level that is of interest to Connecticut’s Jewish community and in support of Israel.
- Runs a legislative internship program which places Jewish college students in the Legislative Office Building
- Sponsors several yearly events at the State Capitol, including the Statewide Holocaust Commemoration, Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration and Jewish Heritage Celebration.

- The Jewish Historical Society of Greater Hartford collects and preserves historical material relating to the Jewish community of Greater Hartford, providing an archival center and educational repository for researchers and the general public.
- JHSGH maintains a collection of Holocaust related photographs and exhibit panels that are available for display.
- In addition, the Society has conducted numerous local survivor oral history interviews that are available as audio tapes or transcription for review in our office. Most have been digitized and arrangements can be made to receive a copy.
