Title I, Part A
Purpose: To provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.
Title II Part A
Purpose: To (1) increase student achievement consistent with the challenging State academic standards; (2) improve the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders; (3) increase the number of teachers, principals, and other school leaders who are effective in improving student academic achievement in schools; and (4) provide low-income and minority students greater access to effective teachers, principals, and other school leaders.
Title III EL
Purpose: To provide ESEA, Title III federal grants to eligible districts/agencies in order to provide supplemental funds for English learners.
Title III Immigrant
Purpose: To assist eligible local educational agencies the experience substantial increases in the number of immigrant children and youth.
State Bilingual Grant
Purpose: To educate children identified as English learners in schools where 20 or more are of the same language group.

Carl D, Perkins Career and Technical Education Postsecondary Supplemental Enhancement Grant 2018 [DOC]
Purpose: The Perkins IV legislation allows states to distribute a portion of the local funds (legislative reference P.L. 109-270 Sec. 112) to achieve an equitable balance of funding in the state. The Postsecondary Supplemental Enhancement concept has been created to balance the needs of community colleges statewide through supplemental Perkins IV funding. Only those Community colleges having received Perkins funds during the 2016-17 academic year may apply for the Postsecondary Supplemental Enhancement Grant.

21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant Program for Grades Pre-K to 12 [DOC]
Purpose: The purpose of the grant is to fund community-learning centers that provide students with academic and enrichment opportunities outside of regular school hours. Centers, which can be located in elementary or secondary schools or other similarly accessible facilities, provide a range of high-quality services to support student learning and development. At the same time, centers help support families by offering them educational development opportunities and providing a safe environment for students when school is not in session.
